Secondary tool not concise
Claim I am submitting is a Medicare secondary claim. Medicare Ins. Type Code box only states not a medicare secondary claim. No option to select IS a Medicare secondary which is what this claim is. What am I supposed to pick or do you need to add another option????

Customer service should answer calls
Here's an idea... How about you have staff available on business days to address APEX errors? Phone calls get a H/U.

Finding $0 paid claims
It would be awesome if the claims by status reports also had an option for seeing that $0 payments were made. Sometimes this is because of deductibles, but sometimes it is because there were errors in the claim. Being able to quickly find these $0 paid claims would make it easier to check for errors. I was hoping that since that information shows up when clicking on the "Complete" claim that it would be something that you could add to the reports. (This was also sent earlier as an email)

Questions
It's not idea, but a question. On the Secondary Claim option I have a question. Do I need to submit my claim from Counsel Ear? If so, why would I have to enter the patient's ID #? I am totally confused. Please let me know if I missed something.

Secondary tool not concise
When submitting claims to a secondary payer that IS Medicare secondary payer, there needs to be an option in Medicare Insurance Type Code field to indicate this. None of the ones that populate now DO NOT indicate that we are submitting to Medicare as Secondary.
Also, in the adjustments fields, the amount due by the patient should not be listed there if the balance is being submitted to the secondary. Plus the adjustment reason states patient responsibility and should actually indicate what the balance is, i.e. deductible, not covered.1 vote -
customer service
Calling into your office for customer service has really gone down hill. The representatives are not very helpful and always seem annoyed when you call to ask a question. Very frustrating!!! Might want to give them more training or hire people that actually want to help.

Claim rejection reporting
It would be very beneficial to have an automated notification like the Failed by Apex for Failed by Insurance companies. As opposed to having to look up Claim Status. It would save a lot of time and trouble.

Marking viewed eob reports as unread
Is there a way that a electronic eob report can be marked as unread? A lot of times I will look at my reports briefly to see how much work is involved and not necessarily want to deal with it at the moment. It would be a big help to be able to have it marked as unread so I know that is the one I need to come back to.

Claims Review
I'd like to have a box I could check off when looking at a specific patient's claims or a choice from the drop down menu that says review/worked so as I review claims/eobs I know those claims were examined previously - would be a big time saver
