Next arrow tab for batch
When I transfer my claims to APEX I now have to open each claim in a batch instead of clicking the right arrow that was next to the batch number. This leaves much room for error when I have over 120 claims to look at since now I have to remember where I was in a batch. Is there anyway we can put the "next arrow" back on the batch number?

Need the right arrow back when editing
Please put back the right arrow when editing failed claims! going back to the batch is very time consuming when editing several claims.

Manually mark claims as paid
It would be nice to be able to manually mark claims as paid if EOB's do not go through APEX. When you pull a claims report it would be nice to not see claims that no longer need tracking.

Rejected Claims
Can providers get an email notification when there is a rejected claim? This way it is taken care of immediately rather than logging in to search for them. Thanks!

Hi there,
I like this idea! I would like to know why suddenly ins carriers that could have an attachment are no longer able to have attachments? In our case it it BCBS dental and Dentaquest for the most part. perhaps some insite as to why would help.

Alert before password expires
Please set up a way to notify me when my password is about to expire. 4/2/24 I had entered probably 40 claims to upload....I started the upload and the claims disappear. Then the notice comes up that my password has expired. I called APEX and was told they could not be found. I have to reenter all of them....HELP!!!!!!

claims report needs put back into apex
the recent update that you did removed the claims report and you can no longer use it I would strongly suggest that in your next update you add that feature again because it is a very useful and efficient tool it help us with reconciling our daily batches

Printed Claims/Pending Attachment
Claims that are printed and mailed by apex because the carrier either doesn't accept electronic claims or do not accept electronic attachments should go to pending attachments (or another tab) with an error message for the office to print and send with attachments. The claims should not be mailed with out

Data Entry
Maybe with claims, save the information from the previous claims so it doesn't have to be typed each and every time to cut down on errors on data entry.

Clearinghouse error with modifier "FQ"
When filing a claim for with modifier "FQ", have on both occasions experienced the claim being sent in twice, and gets flagged as a duplicate. Was told by insurance that would be a clearinghouse error.

How about have real people for customers service instead of this zendesk cost cutting nonsense, where I cannot get a claim processed simply because you geniuses have the incorrect zip code for Bainbridge, WA

Change Resubmit to save changes after pressing it.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, change it so after resubmitting a claim the button changes to "save changes" in case there is a mistake that fails the claim. Rather than resubmit so it don't submit multiples of the same claim.

Don't need smart edit for referring Dr.
Can you turn off the smart edit where it states referring provider is missing from all Medicare claims. They changed their process effective 1/1/23 where this is no longer needed. We put an AB modifier on the claim. I was told if something rejected if I wait a few days, and do nothing, it will automatically go through. This is not true. This does not happen. I have waited a week and it does not automatically go through. So when have to re-submit these we are charged. I have asked this before and nothing happened. Please take this smart edit…

Sort claims by LAST name
After a batch of Post OP claims is sent I need to add the info to box 19 because it never populates. To do this I wish I could sort them Alphabetically by last name, but it seems like you only sort by first name which is not helpful.

No Referring Dr. needed on claim
Can you please STOP the smart edit for needing a referring physician for traditional Medicare claims. It is no longer necessary for providers to bill Medicare for hearing tests with a referring physician on the claim. We now use the AB modifier. Can you please stop rejecting all Medicare claims and fix this smart edit?

35. Remarks section: add more characters
I am noticing APEX has started limiting the number of characters to approximately (80) in the remarks section #35. This is NOT enough space to properly communicate all of the information insurance companies are requiring from providers. It is causing an increase in claim processing errors and denials. Is there a way to include all of the text the provider has posted in this area?
