  1. Printed Claims/Pending Attachment

    Claims that are printed and mailed by apex because the carrier either doesn't accept electronic claims or do not accept electronic attachments should go to pending attachments (or another tab) with an error message for the office to print and send with attachments. The claims should not be mailed with out

  2. Prepopulated items

    On the claim, have the option to prepopulate information. When we bill we use the same thing for each patient the only thing that changes all the time is the date and if they are a new patient the CPT changes. it would be faster for me when i bill if the place of service is prepopulated the DX code, thepointer the charges and the units, for none of those in our case never change. On naivinet this is already filled in for us, hopefully this will be an option for us as well here.

  3. List of Approved Payer's ERAs

    It would be helpful to have access to a full list of approved payers. We have a list of Claims Enrollment payers within our account information, but this doesn't help us know what EOBs we can access through Apex. When we've used other clearinghouses, we've found access to all payer approvals for sending claims and receiving EOBs. This would be a helpful tool since there are two separate areas within Apex we need to access to obtain all EOBs available. If we had this feature, we could also verify if we're missing payments.

  4. Favorites under insurances

    Letting us pick or star "favorites" when using the eligibility tool under insurance. Because we typically only use the same few and scrolling every time is time consuming.

  8. alphabetic order

    I am wondering if it is possible to put the patients names on the EOB's in alphabetical order or by account number? I have multiple charges for the same patients and it would make it easier if they were together and not sporadic through out the EOB.

  9. Correct upload computer program for D0240

    Please fix the upload coding for the D0240. It must have an arch or quadrant to process by all Delta Dental plans. Please adjust the Apex programming coding so this data is included on the claim form for D0240. The arch was on the claim we sent from our system to Apex for D0240, but this data did not get uploaded onto the claim form when it was sent to the ins co.

  13. Clearinghouse error with modifier "FQ"

    When filing a claim for with modifier "FQ", have on both occasions experienced the claim being sent in twice, and gets flagged as a duplicate. Was told by insurance that would be a clearinghouse error.

  15. rejected claims

    I am looking on the claim status page, and there are several that have been rejected by EMI, Select Health, PEHP, and Deseret Mutual.
    I have been having trouble getting responses from all of these. I called last week, and haven't heard back from anyone.

  16. Change Resubmit to save changes after pressing it.

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, change it so after resubmitting a claim the button changes to "save changes" in case there is a mistake that fails the claim. Rather than resubmit so it don't submit multiples of the same claim.

  18. Don't need smart edit for referring Dr.

    Can you turn off the smart edit where it states referring provider is missing from all Medicare claims. They changed their process effective 1/1/23 where this is no longer needed. We put an AB modifier on the claim. I was told if something rejected if I wait a few days, and do nothing, it will automatically go through. This is not true. This does not happen. I have waited a week and it does not automatically go through. So when have to re-submit these we are charged. I have asked this before and nothing happened. Please take this smart edit…

  19. Sort claims by LAST name

    After a batch of Post OP claims is sent I need to add the info to box 19 because it never populates. To do this I wish I could sort them Alphabetically by last name, but it seems like you only sort by first name which is not helpful.
