  3. No Referring Dr. needed on claim

    Can you please STOP the smart edit for needing a referring physician for traditional Medicare claims. It is no longer necessary for providers to bill Medicare for hearing tests with a referring physician on the claim. We now use the AB modifier. Can you please stop rejecting all Medicare claims and fix this smart edit?

  5. 35. Remarks section: add more characters

    I am noticing APEX has started limiting the number of characters to approximately (80) in the remarks section #35. This is NOT enough space to properly communicate all of the information insurance companies are requiring from providers. It is causing an increase in claim processing errors and denials. Is there a way to include all of the text the provider has posted in this area?

  8. Insurance Response Notifications

    We would love a way to eliminate the notifications for insurance responses once we have looked at them. If this is already an option, we would love to know how to access it. We currently have 882 notifications, but we see that there are no actions to take currently.

  15. Attachment Difficulties

    Hello, I am unable to send attachments. Please help! I have always sent my attachments through Vyne because it was unavailable through Apex. But since the Apex system started allowing attachments to be sent at the end of 2022, it blocked or made ineffective the Vyne software making so I had to cancel with them. I was okay to do this knowing that I could now upload and send my attachments with Apex. However, It stopped working and now I have NO way of sending attachments at all.     Under the Insurance Response tab, If a claim is rejected, if the system could provide a reason for rejection, that would be extremely helpful and cut down on time needed to contact Customer Service.

  20. Pending claims

    The claims that are selected to pend for attachment need to be in a separate tab at the top like before. I usually send attachments once a week as we have SO MANY and I now have to skip through each page of claim to find the ones pending....unless I am missing something.
